MLB Rivals Heads Into an All-Star Game Event to Celebrate Its Second Anniversary
July 2024 – In celebration of its second anniversary, MLB Rivals*, the popular mobile baseball game developed by Scopely and published in partnership with Major League Baseball, is launching a grand All-Star Game Event that promises fans a thrilling mix of nostalgia, competitive gameplay, and exclusive rewards.
The event, set to debut on July 10, 2024, will transport players into a retro-futuristic All-Star showdown, blending classic MLB moments with futuristic twists. Featuring iconic players from past All-Star Games, fan-favorite legends, and new digital collectibles, the celebration is designed to honor the game’s journey since its 2022 launch.
Key Highlights of the All-Star Game Event:
All-Star Legends Mode: Recruit and battle with legendary All-Stars like Hank Aaron, Clayton Kershaw, A-Rod, and Mariano Rivera in a special 3v3 tournament mode. Fans can collect retro uniforms and vintage stats for their digital rosters.
“Rise of the Rivals” Tournament: Compete in a global leaderboard challenge across multiple game modes—Pitching Showdown, Home Run Derby, and Rally Mode—to earn exclusive All-Star Event gear and rare player cards.
2nd Anniversary Rewards: All players who log in during the event week will receive a limited-time “All-Star Legacy Pack”, including a premium player card, 200,000 in-game currency, and a custom All-Star-themed avatar.
Interactive Fan Experience: MLB Rivals is hosting a live social media sweepstakes where fans can submit their favorite All-Star memories for a chance to win a VIP trip to a real MLB All-Star Game (2025), complete with stadium passes and meet-and-greets with former stars.
