In Crystal of Atlan, pets are far more than simple companions; they are vital strategic partners that greatly enhance your capabilities in both PvE and PvP battles. You can deploy them to bolster an aggressive attack strategy or provide crucial defensive support. This guide explores the pet system in detail, providing key strategies for obtaining, managing, and optimizing your pets to perfectly align with your playstyle. Let's get started!
What are Pets?
Pets are loyal creatures that fight alongside you, both in and out of combat. The pet system becomes available once your character reaches level 26, with every player receiving a free "Assistant Jackelope" pet. While they may look cute, pets are powerful battle assets that dramatically increase your overall Combat Power (CP). Learning to use your pet strategically to maximize damage and survivability is essential for conquering the game's most challenging dungeons.

Evolving your Pet
Evolving your pet transforms its appearance and unlocks new abilities or enhances existing ones. Evolution is highly recommended for superior stats and CP. To evolve a pet, you first need its corresponding Heart. Initially, you receive a pet contract. For instance, obtaining the Shining Crystafox grants you its contract. Acquiring a duplicate Shining Crystafox Contract converts it into a Heart, which is the essential item required for evolution.
