Remember Sonic Rumble? This upcoming Sonic game trades high-speed action for chaotic party fun in the style of Fall Guys. Following its May CBT, Sonic Rumble is now entering its pre-launch phase.
Sonic Rumble's Phased Pre-Launch
SEGA has launched Phase 1 of Sonic Rumble's pre-launch in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This initial phase will run throughout the summer, after which all gameplay data will be reset.
Phase 2 will follow in the fall, expanding the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia. Phase 3 will add more regions, yet to be announced.
Global pre-registration will open after Phase 3, likely by the end of the year or early next year. The game's release seems timed to capitalize on the recent success of Fall Guys.
Gameplay Overview
Sonic Rumble features mini-games with crazy obstacles and challenges, playable solo or with friends. However, unlike the straightforward races of Fall Guys, Sonic Rumble incorporates classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman, adding an extra layer of chaotic fun to the obstacle-dodging gameplay.
