About the Rise-Home Stories Project
DOT’S HOME is a living story—a creative and activist endeavor co-developed with housing justice advocates, Black elders, and Detroit-based community organizers. By centering Black women’s experiences, the game challenges the myth of the "American Dream" and reveals how policy, power, and place have long shaped who gets to belong.
“Home is not just a place. It’s a promise. And some promises are harder to keep than others.”
