Alongside traditional Shogi gameplay, the "Hasami Shogi" (Japanese chess scissors) app also lets you enjoy variations like "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi".
Beyond standard Shogi matches, the "Hasami Shogi" (Japanese chess scissors) application features two unique variants: "Prisoner's Base Shogi" and "Surround Shogi".
● Hasami Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold pieces. The objective is to capture opponent pieces by sandwiching them.
Victory is achieved by capturing three opponent pieces.
Note that due to Hasami Shogi's nature, some games might end inconclusively (though design efforts minimize luck-based outcomes).
● Prisoner's Base Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold pieces. Infiltrate enemy territory by moving all pieces to the opponent's 3x3 area while jumping over their pieces.
● Surround Shogi Rules
Players are divided into infantry and gold pieces. Similar to Hasami Shogi, capture pieces by sandwiching, plus you can surround squares within your territory.
Alternatively, control six surrounding frames or secure three territories to win.
All game modes feature three CPU difficulty levels and support Player vs Player matches.
