Story

Your journey begins in a serene forest near the village of Riders, where you, along with your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a mysterious, glowing egg. In a playful moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded when it actually works! From the egg emerges a baby Rathalos, the majestic "King of the Skies," whom you affectionately name "Ratha." You bring Ratha back to your village, but soon after, a monster infected with the "Black Blight" attacks, leaving devastation in its wake and deep scars in the hearts of your friends.

A year later, you are bestowed a Kinship Stone by the Village Chief, marking your official transition into a Rider. As Cheval and Lilia embark on their separate journeys, you, now partnered with the spirited Navirou, set out on a new adventure into the vast world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph awaits—saddle up and ride into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!

    • This app shares the same introductory story as the handheld console version.
    • Some features from the handheld version, including certain collaborations, amiibo functionality, local Network Battles, and StreetPass, are not available in this version.
    • Deleting the app will result in the loss of all saved data.
    • The app can only be downloaded via a Wi-Fi connection.
    • Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version are incompatible with this version.
