Samsung has unveiled a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three of them available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs, featuring incremental improvements such as new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, which was previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The new 4K Mini-LED models include the QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F. The top-tier QN90F boasts a 165Hz refresh rate, a Gen 3 processor, and an anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F marks Samsung's first foray into 100-inch TVs.

The new OLED lineup for 2025 includes the S95F, S90F, and S85F, each featuring incremental upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F model comes equipped with a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, enhanced anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel that promises up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F also includes the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for models 55 inches and larger. The S85F, positioned as the "budget" OLED TV, features a Gen 2 processor and is currently the only model available for purchase.

2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV

Not yet released

The Frame Pro is set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. It will feature a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through a discreetly stowable "One Connect" box. The standard Frame TV will continue to be available at a more affordable price point.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D is a refined television that enhances the user interface and introduces a range of new features, increasing its overall value. Though it comes with a premium price tag, the QN90D's brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming features justify the investment.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is heavily investing in AI technology for 2025, introducing "Vision AI" capable of recognizing content and providing personalized real-time commentary. More TV models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro to optimize image quality dynamically. Additional AI enhancements include Active Voice Amplifier Pro for clearer dialogue, AI Optimization, and an AI Energy Mode.

Samsung is also expanding the use of its matte-like anti-glare coating, first seen on the S95D in 2024. This technology minimizes reflections without compromising color saturation, setting it apart from typical anti-glare coatings.
