April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Sony has announced an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were revealed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, 2025, until the next rotation on May 5, 2025.

The April 2025 lineup caters to a variety of gaming tastes. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a standout title that immerses players in the role of Alex Murphy, the iconic cyborg law enforcer, as he battles to restore order in a crime-ridden Detroit. This first-person shooter received a significant update in January of the previous year, introducing a New Game Plus mode. Our review at launch awarded it a solid 7/10, praising its faithful recreation of the '80s atmosphere.

For those craving intense multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an asymmetrical horror experience. Players can either try to survive or take on the role of the notorious Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. Our review gave it a 6/10, noting it provides a few entertaining, albeit technically challenging, hours of gameplay.

To balance out the high-octane action, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco offers a more relaxed experience. This turn-based RPG expands the digital world of Digimon, allowing players to collect over 320 different creatures and explore a new perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth storyline.

As these titles become available next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 titles before they are replaced on March 31, 2025. The March lineup, which includes Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, offers a strong selection that should not be missed.
