Assassin's Creed Shadows Estimated to Take 80 Hours for Full Completion

Jonathan Dumont, Creative Director, has revealed that completing Assassin's Creed Mirage's main story will take approximately 30-40 hours. Adding in all optional content could extend playtime to a total of 80 hours. This estimate comes from an interview with journalist Genki, offering players a clearer picture of the game's time commitment.

Dumont previously compared Mirage to earlier titles like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. However, these games vary greatly in length, making direct comparisons less helpful. Recognizing the challenge of quantifying open-world playtime, Dumont clarified that Mirage shares a similar scope to Origins. According to HowLongToBeat.com, Origins' main story takes around 30 hours, while completionists may spend over 80 hours.

For players concerned about excessive playtime, Mirage offers a more balanced experience compared to games like Valhalla, which boasts a 60-hour main story and a potential 150 hours for completion. If Dumont's projections are accurate, Mirage provides a more manageable yet fulfilling adventure.
