Last year's surprise hit has now sold over 5 million copies, a milestone achieved just over a month after surpassing 3.5 million sales. This explosive growth, likely fueled by the impact of The Game Awards, showcases the game's enduring popularity.

Playstack CEO Harvey Elliott lauded this achievement, highlighting the dedication of both the developer, LocalThunk, and the publishing team. Even nearly a year after its release, Balatro remains vibrant, consistently receiving updates, featuring exciting collaborations, and recently setting a new record for concurrent players on Steam.
