How To Give Beasts Nicknames In Hogwarts Legacy

Author : Daniel Jan 17,2025

Hogwarts Legacy continues to delight players with its hidden features, enriching the immersive Harry Potter experience. One such detail, often overlooked, is the ability to rename rescued beasts. This seemingly small addition significantly enhances personalization and immersion for players. This guide outlines the simple steps involved.

Renaming Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy

To give your rescued beasts personalized names:

  1. Navigate to the Vivarium within the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Castle.
  2. Ensure the beast you wish to rename is present. If it's in your inventory, summon it via the Beast Inventory menu.
  3. Interact with the beast to access its status information.
  4. Locate the "Rename" option within this menu and select it.
  5. Enter your chosen nickname and click "Confirm."
  6. The nickname will be displayed when you interact with the beast.

This renaming feature offers significant advantages, especially when managing a large collection of beasts, including rare ones. The best part? You can rename your beasts as often as you like, without limitations. This adds a layer of personal ownership and customization that many players may have missed.
