Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Set for January 28th

After a brief delay, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions were pushed back to allow for further refinement and polishing to ensure the best possible player experience.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor invites players to cultivate magical plants in the picturesque English countryside. The game initially launched to widespread praise on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024, earning a strong reputation as one of the year's best puzzle games.

Publisher Whitethorn Games announced the new release date on January 9th, 2025, fulfilling an earlier promise to provide an update. While the release date is now confirmed, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning players will need to wait a little longer to add it to their wishlists.

The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. As a one-time purchase with no microtransactions, it will likely mirror the other versions, excluding the digital soundtrack available separately on Steam.

Enhancing PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83/100 average and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) highlights its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration. Its arrival on PlayStation is poised to significantly enrich the platform's already impressive puzzle game collection.

With its PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. While Balloon Studios remains tight-lipped about their next project, January 28th will also see the PlayStation Store release of several other anticipated titles, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
