Known Habitats – Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts – Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attack – Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects – Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items – Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Use Flash Pod
Doshaguma, despite its massive size, is incredibly agile, capable of jumping and dashing around the arena. This makes it challenging for melee weapon users to land hits. A strategic move is to deploy a Flash Pod, which will temporarily blind the monster, providing you with an opportunity to attack or even mount its back.
Attack the Legs
Targeting Doshaguma's legs, especially the forelegs, is key as they possess a 3-star weakness, making them highly vulnerable. The back legs, with only a 2-star weakness, are less effective to hit. The head, also with a 3-star weakness, is another prime target. While less damaging, you can also aim for the tail, which can break and yield valuable parts.
Use Fire and Lightning
In your battle against Doshaguma, utilize fire and lightning elements for maximum effect. Bowgun users should stock up on Flaming and Thunder ammo, while melee users can enhance their weapons with fire skill decorations. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso, and use lightning on the head for optimal damage.
Beware of Blastblight
Doshaguma can inflict Blastblight, a dangerous status ailment that leads to an explosion if not addressed. You can counteract this by using a Nulberry or Deodorant, or by dodge-rolling three times to shake off the effect.
Use Traps
Leverage the environment to your advantage. The areas where Doshaguma roams often have natural traps that can be used to your benefit. Remember to sheath your weapon to use your slinger and ensure the monster is directly under the trap before activating it.
