Get ready for an exhilarating event as CrazyGames launches its Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 this week, from April 25th to May 5th. This 10-day extravaganza, in collaboration with Photon, the leading multiplayer service provider, is a golden opportunity for indie developers worldwide. The jam is set to ignite creativity, focusing on developing innovative web-based multiplayer games.

Participants will vie for a share of €10,000 in cash prizes and premium Photon licenses, which include:

  • 500 CCU with Circle Starter for a year (€7,500 value)
  • 500 CCU for a year (€1,500 value)
  • 100 CCU for a year (€100 value)

The only firm rules for the event are that games must be developed and submitted within the jam period and must adhere to PEGI 12 rating standards. Beyond that, developers are encouraged to unleash their creativity and push the boundaries of web gaming.

Since its inception in 2014, CrazyGames has grown to become the go-to platform for free online gaming, leveraging HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGL technologies to offer seamless browser-based gaming experiences across thousands of titles. In partnership with Photon, CrazyGames will provide comprehensive support throughout the event and offer winners the chance to have their games featured on the platform.

To kick things off, a pre-jam livestream will be held on April 24th at 4 pm CEST on YouTube and LinkedIn. This session will introduce two new WebGL platforms, Fusion and Quantum. Mark Val, Head of Growth at Photon Engine, highlighted the significance of these platforms, stating, "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples let you create high-performant multiplayer games easily. We believe a WebGL game will be in the top 20 of the world’s most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a perfect opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."

Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to game developers of all experience levels. Don't miss this chance to showcase your skills and potentially see your game become a hit on CrazyGames. For more information and to register, visit the official jam page.
