DC: Dark Legion is an exhilarating strategy game set in the iconic DC Universe, where you get to command legendary heroes and notorious villains in epic battles against daunting foes. Developed by KingsGroup, this mobile game masterfully combines real-time strategy with RPG elements, enabling you to assemble formidable teams and dive into thrilling combat scenarios. Although the game is yet to be officially released, it has undergone several open beta tests across various regions, giving eager players a chance to explore its mechanics. This beginner's guide breaks down these core game mechanics in simple terms, perfect for newcomers eager to dive into the RPG upon its launch. Let's get started!

Levelling Up: Every champion in DC: Dark Legion, no matter their rarity, can be levelled up to boost their base stats, including Attack, Defense, and Health. You can level up your champions by taking them into battles where they'll earn experience. Alternatively, you can use EXP potions of various rarities to level them up directly. Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power but also increases your overall account's Combat Power (CP).

Upgrading Star Count: Each champion in DC: Dark Legion™ comes with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions start at 5-stars. You can boost this star count by using shards of the same champion, which means you'll need to get duplicate copies—a process that can be quite costly and luck-dependent. While this might not be the best approach for new, free-to-play players, it's a powerful way to unlock new abilities and enhance your hero's stats.

Gearing Up: Beyond levelling up, you can amplify your heroes' effectiveness by outfitting them with robust gear. In the early stages, you can acquire gear by clearing out hideouts. Once you unlock the crafting feature at your base, you can start creating your own gear. Gear comes in different rarities, each offering main stats and sub-stats. Higher rarity gear starts with more sub-stats alongside the main stat, significantly boosting your heroes' capabilities.

For an enhanced gaming experience, you can play DC: Dark Legion™ on a larger screen using your PC or laptop with BlueStacks, along with the precision of a keyboard and mouse.
