Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

Dead Cells Mobile's final updates are here, bringing an end to the game's impressive run of free content updates since 2018. While no further updates are planned, players can still enjoy the game with the addition of "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near." These final updates introduce a host of new challenges and rewards.

What's New?

These updates introduce a thrilling new element: curses! Four new weapons add to the mix, each with its own risky reward:

  • Sewing Scissors: A powerful new weapon.
  • Misericorde: Delivers massive critical damage to low-health enemies, but curses you if you fail to finish them off.
  • Anathema: A heavy ranged weapon that explodes on impact, cursing you if it hits anything.
  • Indulgence: A skill that deals significant damage with a beam of light and can partially cleanse curses.

New gameplay modes, including Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, offer fresh challenges. Furthermore, 40 new heads are available, and a new NPC allows for easy head swapping.

New Mutations and Enemies:

The updates also introduce new mutations to further enhance gameplay complexity:

  • Cursed Flask: Allows health flask usage without consuming a charge.
  • Damned Vigor: Briefly prevents death, allowing a final strike on an enemy.
  • Demonic Strength: Boosts damage while cursed.

New enemies add to the challenge, including:

  • The Sore Loser: Curses you upon defeat.
  • The Curser: Launches guided cursed skulls and attacks at close range.
  • The Doom Bringer: Can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.

Download Dead Cells from the Google Play Store and experience these final updates before they become history! Stay tuned for our upcoming coverage of "The Tale of Food Shutdown," an adventure RPG featuring Food Souls.
