Dead by Daylight Welcomes Back 2v8 Mode with Resident Evil Collaboration

Dead by Daylight has launched an exhilarating new 2v8 mode through a collaboration with the Resident Evil series, bringing iconic characters and a fresh twist to the gameplay. Dive into the roles of two notorious villains from Capcom's acclaimed franchise: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, known as The Puppeteer. They will challenge a team of Resident Evil's most iconic heroes, including:

  • Jill Valentine
  • Leon Kennedy
  • Claire Redfield
  • Ada Wong

These intense confrontations unfold within the well-known Raccoon City Police Station, adding a nostalgic backdrop to the battles.

This unique event marks the first time Nemesis and Wesker team up in such a gameplay setting, offering players a one-of-a-kind experience. Both characters deploy their signature infection-based powers: Nemesis with the T-Virus and Wesker with Uroboros, targeting Survivors with their distinct abilities.

In the 2v8 mode, participants can gather special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs serve various purposes; some heal Survivors, while yellow herbs are essential for repairing hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also collect herbs, which temporarily boost their speed, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.

Whether you're a newcomer or a veteran of the 2v8 mode, be aware of significant changes. The traditional Powers and Perks have been swapped out for a new Class System, offering a range of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors.

The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil crossover event will run until February 25, providing ample time for players to immerse themselves in this thrilling blend of horror and strategy. Don't miss out on this unique gaming experience!
