Death Stranding 2 Global Launch Timings Announced

Kojima Productions has announced the worldwide release schedule for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated follow-up to Hideo Kojima's open-world delivery adventure featuring Norman Reedus.

While the game becomes available at midnight local time for most players this Thursday, June 26, those who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition will enjoy early access starting Tuesday, June 24—two days ahead of the official launch.

Typically, we'd include a handy time zone map here, but Kojima Productions hasn’t released one for this rollout. Even so, you won’t need complex navigation—the title unlocks at midnight local time in most regions.

IGN awarded Death Stranding 2 a 9/10 in its review, praising it as “a triumphant sequel that fully delivers on the ambitious vision of the original.”

It's also worth noting that Hideo Kojima is developing a live-action Death Stranding film with A24, and an animated Death Stranding series is in production as well. In addition, he is working on a PlayStation-exclusive action-espionage title titled Physint, and described the upcoming Xbox-published game OD as “a project I've always wanted to create.”
