During the new Escape from Tarkov wipe developers will show New Year special

Escape from Tarkov's wipe, originally planned for before the New Year to coincide with a simplified Kappa container quest, now has a confirmed release time: December 26th, 7:00 AM GMT / 2:00 AM EST. Following approximately 8 hours of maintenance, the game will update to version 0.16.0.0 (Tarkov Arena to 0.2.5.0). Previous updates have sometimes exceeded this timeframe.

To compensate for downtime, Battlestate Games will host a New Year's Special Twitch stream at 4:00 PM GMT / 11:00 AM EST. While specifics remain undisclosed, players can anticipate new content.
