The Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Finally Brings Marvel's First Family Into the MCU, Teases Galactus' Arrival

Marvel Studios has unveiled the highly anticipated debut trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, offering fans their first glimpse into what promises to be a monumental superhero film in 2025. The trailer showcases Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and The Thing, alongside the formidable supervillain, Galactus. Opening with a dinner scene at the Baxter Building, the trailer vividly portrays the film's stylish 1960s retro-futuristic setting and hints at an epic battle unfolding in New York City.

We witness Ben Grimm's transformation into The Thing, alongside the team's quirky robotic assistant, H.E.R.B.I.E. Both appear to be quite enthusiastic about culinary pursuits. Elsewhere, Sue Storm briefly demonstrates her powers as the Invisible Woman, and Johnny Storm takes flight as the Human Torch. While Reed Richards' stretchy Mr. Fantastic abilities are not yet showcased, the trailer does offer a tantalizing glimpse of John Malkovich, rumored to be portraying the villain Ivan Kragoff, also known as the Red Ghost.

The official trailer launch took place at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach interacted with enthusiastic fans.

Scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, this upcoming MCU movie boasts a stellar cast, including Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Matt Shakman directs, and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige produces.
