GO Fest 2025 to Extend Pokémon Play Worldwide

Pokemon GO Fest 2025: Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris!

Get ready, trainers! Pokemon GO Fest 2025 is heading to Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris. While details are scarce, the announcement alone is exciting news for dedicated players who travel globally for these events.

Although Pokemon GO's initial fervor has subsided, its worldwide fanbase remains strong. GO Fest, typically held in three cities with a subsequent global event, is a major draw, offering unique Pokemon spawns, including region-locked and previously unavailable Shiny forms. For those unable to attend in person, the global event provides many of the same rewards.

The 2025 festivities kick off in Osaka, Japan (May 29th-June 1st), followed by Jersey City, New Jersey (June 6th-8th), and concluding in Paris, France (June 13th-15th). Pricing and specific event features remain undisclosed, with Niantic promising further information closer to the dates.

2024 GO Fest: A Potential Precursor to 2025 Pricing?

Anticipation is high for this year's GO Fest, and ticket pricing offers a glimpse into potential 2025 costs. Historically, prices have been relatively consistent, with regional variations. In 2023 and 2024, Japan saw tickets priced around ¥3500-¥3600, while Europe experienced a price drop from roughly $40 USD in 2023 to $33 in 2024. US prices remained steady at $30, and global tickets were consistently priced at $14.99.

However, a recent Community Day ticket price increase from $1 to $2 USD has sparked player discontent. This could foreshadow potential price hikes for GO Fest 2025. Given the negative reaction to this smaller price adjustment, Niantic will likely proceed cautiously, especially considering the dedication of in-person attendees who often travel considerable distances for the event.
