Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox

Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, the masterminds behind the acclaimed Construction Simulator series, alongside publisher astragon, have unveiled their latest venture into the realm of simulation gaming with Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. This exciting new title, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is set to ignite your gaming experience as you step into the boots of a firefighter. Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players will engage in life-saving missions, rescuing trapped citizens and tackling various fire hazards, including electrical blazes, flammable liquids, grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. The game also supports four-player co-op, allowing you to team up with friends for an even more immersive experience.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite promises to deliver an unparalleled level of realism with its advanced fire, smoke, and heat physics. The developers aim to enhance immersion further by incorporating officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from top industry brands such as HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL. Players will have access to an array of authentic tools, including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, as well as personal protective equipment. Additionally, the game features authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America, such as the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, and the brand-new RTX, adding to the authenticity of the firefighting experience.

Players can also customize their characters, adding a personal touch to their firefighting journey.
