Fortnite Rumors: Epic Movie and Game Franchises to Join, Leaks Suggest

Wake me up in ten years and ask me what's happening—I’ll confidently say that data miners are leaking new Fortnite collaborations. Since Epic Games’ battle royale has become the ultimate virtual crossover, it’s no surprise that the developers are constantly searching for new franchises and content to bring into their universe.

So, what have data miners uncovered this time? First, we might see the return of Metal Gear Solid. A collaboration with Konami’s legendary series already took place last year, but rumors suggest a second wave is on the way. This could bring back fan-favorite characters and perhaps introduce new skins and challenges inspired by the iconic stealth action game.

Second, a crossover with the Fast & Furious franchise could be coming. Fortnite has previously worked with major film franchises (John Wick, for example), so we may soon see Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto and Sung Kang as Han Lue. However, the most exciting part of the leak is that Dominic’s legendary Dodge Charger might make its way into the game. After all, it would be strange to have a Fast & Furious crossover without fast cars. Imagine racing through Fortnite's landscapes with this iconic vehicle!

When will this happen? That remains unclear. With leaks like these, collaborations can sometimes be postponed for a long time until the timing is right for all parties involved. What we do know is that the Fast X sequel is set to premiere in March 2026, which might align with the launch of these exciting new collaborations in Fortnite.
