New Game+ mode in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will be free

The gaming world is back in full swing after the holiday break, and we have some exciting news! While the Nintendo Switch 2 remains highly anticipated, today's spotlight shines on a fan-favorite franchise: Like a Dragon. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled fresh gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its pirate-themed adventures in Hawaii.

The showcased video highlighted extensive ship customization, expansive open-sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. A key feature is Goro Majima's dual combat styles: a lightning-fast, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players will assemble a unique crew of allies, crucial for combat, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises a wealth of hidden islands and original side quests to discover.

A significant announcement at the presentation's conclusion: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This is a welcome change from the previous Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth title, where this mode was exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism towards SEGA. This positive development means we only have to wait roughly six weeks for the official release.
