Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Reveals More Gameplay Details

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Mobile RPG Beta Test Announced

Netmarble's upcoming mobile RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer and details about its closed beta test. The action-adventure title, set during the show's fourth season, promises engaging combat and a rich narrative experience.

The closed beta, running from January 16th to 22nd, 2025, in the US, Canada, and select European regions, offers fans early access to the game before its full release later this year. Registration will be available through the game's official website.

Kingsroad features class-based progression with "fully manual" controls, allowing players to command characters like Jon Snow and Jaime Lannister. The game also introduces a new character, the heir to House Tyre, and includes iconic figures such as Drogon. The trailer showcases the game's visually appealing graphics and fast-paced combat.

The game's narrative, drawing inspiration from the rich lore of George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, promises an original story arc. This mobile offering provides a compelling experience for fans eagerly awaiting the next installment in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, The Winds of Winter. While the author faces ongoing challenges completing the manuscript, Kingsroad, alongside other projects like A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and House of the Dragon season 3, offers fans a way to engage with the world of Westeros.
