MiSide: A Comprehensive Guide to Solving the Glitching Carrots Puzzle

MiSide is brimming with hidden secrets and collectibles, including charming Mita costumes and character backstories. One such hidden gem is the optional Glitching Carrots puzzle, easily missed on a first playthrough. This guide provides a complete solution, ensuring you collect all seven carrots.

Locating the Glitching Carrots

The Glitching Carrot puzzle appears in MiSide's "Reading Books, Destroying Glitches" chapter, starting with Player One's arrival at Mila's game world. After the initial dialogue, you'll encounter several glitches (resembling black holes) around the house. During this process, you'll notice a peculiar carrot that vanishes and reappears in different locations, increasing in size with each teleport. Collecting all seven carrot spawns unlocks the corresponding achievement.

Carrot Locations: A Step-by-Step Guide

The following details the location of each Glitching Carrot:

  1. Carrot #1: Kitchen – Located in the fruit bowl on the kitchen counter.

  2. Carrot #2: Mila's Bedroom – Found near the potted plant beside the bathroom door.

  3. Carrot #3: Living Room – Situated in the vase on the table near the front door.

  4. Carrot #4: Bathroom – After solving the first kitchen glitch, enter the bathroom, endure Mila's scolding, exit, and re-enter. The carrot is on the top shelf of the closet next to the bathroom door (note: a Player Cartridge is also on this shelf).

  5. Carrot #5: Living Room – Appears on the armchair next to the bedroom door after collecting Carrot #4.

  6. Carrot #6: Kitchen – This carrot is found on the kitchen table.

  7. Carrot #7: Mila's Bedroom – Located on Mila's bed.

Achievement Unlocking

Collecting all seven carrots automatically unlocks the achievement. It's best to collect them before solving the final glitch. However, if missed, you can replay the chapter after completing the main storyline.
