My Hero Academia: The Strongest Bids Farewell: End of Service Announced
Xin Yuan Studios has announced the end of service (EOS) for its popular mobile action RPG, My Hero Academia: The Strongest. Based on Kohei Horikoshi's acclaimed anime series, the game, published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, launched globally in May 2021.
Shutdown Date:
Servers will officially shut down on March 31st, 2025. The game was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on February 24th, 2025, with in-app purchases disabled concurrently. All official social media accounts will be removed after the server closure. Customer support will remain active for an additional 30 days to address player inquiries. Refunds are available for purchases made between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, before the server shutdown.
Farewell Gift:
As a thank you to its players, the developers are offering a final in-game reward. This includes SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins, details of which can be found on the game's official website.
Reasons for Closure:
The closure of My Hero Academia: The Strongest after approximately four years isn't entirely unexpected in the gacha game market. While the game initially boasted strong PvP combat and a well-received system, a lack of significant updates after its first anniversary and reported mismanagement ultimately led to its decline.
