Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2 Arrives January 28th

Treyarch has officially announced the launch date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2: Tuesday, January 28th. Season 1, which began November 14th, will have run for a substantial 75 days, making it one of the longest seasons in Call of Duty history.

While specifics regarding Season 2's content remain undisclosed, anticipation is high. The extended Season 1, while contributing to Black Ops 6's record-breaking launch (highest player count in its first 30 days), has also seen a recent player dip, potentially attributed to ongoing issues with cheating in Ranked Play and server stability. The community hopes the new season will revitalize the game.

Season 2 Launch Confirmed

The Season 2 launch date was revealed in a recent Black Ops 6 update. While addressing Zombies-related fixes in the January 9th patch notes, Treyarch mentioned certain improvements delayed until the next season, confirming its January 28th arrival. A comprehensive blog post detailing the new season's features is expected soon.

Season 1 delivered a wealth of new content: multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and events, significantly impacting Warzone with a new movement system, weapons, gameplay updates, and the Area-99 Resurgence map.
