Kingambit Debuts in Pokémon Go's Crown Clash Event

  • The Crown Clash event runs from May 10th through May 18th
  • Kingambit arrives alongside special crown-wearing Nidoqueen and Nidoking variants
  • Players can earn numerous exclusive rewards throughout the event

While trainers prepare for Sweet Discoveries, Pokémon Go readies its royal battle with the imminent Crown Clash event. Running from May 10-18, this limited-time celebration lets you evolve the powerful Kingambit, collect crowned Pokémon, hunt shinies, and earn bonus XP through evolutions.

Kingambit finally makes its Pokémon Go debut during Crown Clash. Evolving Bisharp requires a special method - keep it as your buddy while defeating 15 Dark or Steel-type Pokémon in raids. Your Bisharp doesn't need to participate in battles; simply having it as your companion counts toward the evolution requirements.

The event introduces crown-adorned variants of Nidoqueen and Nidoking, with potential Shiny encounters available. These regal Pokémon will appear in 3-star raids, while Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard dominate 1-star raids.

Wild spawns receive a boost during Crown Clash. Trainers should watch for Slowpoke (potential King's Rock drops), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, Litleo, and increased Pawniard appearances.

Don't forget to check current Pokémon Go redemption codes before participating!

Evolutions grant double XP throughout the event - perfect for clearing your backlog. Complete Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges featuring evolutions to earn bonus XP, Stardust, and additional Pawniard encounters. Level 31+ trainers receive guaranteed Candy XL upon completing evolution challenges.

Visit PokéStops for event-exclusive Showcases to display your finest crowned catches. The Pokémon Go Web Store also offers special bundles tailored for Crown Clash participants.
