While Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in much better shape than its predecessor, it still carries the inevitable technical challenges common to expansive RPGs with grand ambitions. Warhorse Studios remains committed to refining the game post-launch, and their upcoming patch promises to be a significant undertaking.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that this patch, which has been in development for over five months, will address more than a thousand bugs.
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Gamers are naturally curious whether the update will introduce substantial new features alongside bug fixes, such as fresh gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. Given the extensive preparation time, there’s optimism for meaningful additions, though details will remain under wraps until the full patch notes are released.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios confirmed that the game will soon receive official mod support within the next two weeks. Initially, however, functionality will be limited—for example, players won’t be able to create custom missions. The studio plans to expand the modding tools over time. As of now, no specific release date for the patch has been announced.
