King’s Raid Returns After Masangsoft Acquisition

Author : Zoey May 06,2025

If you were disheartened by the end of King’s Raid, there's uplifting news to share: it's making a comeback! Masangsoft has acquired the intellectual property for this beloved mobile RPG and is gearing up for a full-scale revival, following the game's closure on April 15th.

Launched back in 2017, King’s Raid distinguished itself by opting out of the typical gacha mechanics, instead embracing a more player-friendly hero collection system. With its real-time 3D battles, an engaging storyline, and top-notch character design, it quickly garnered a loyal following around the globe, especially in Japan and Southeast Asia. Yet, despite its appeal, operational challenges led to its shutdown earlier this month.

But fear not, as Masangsoft has swiftly moved to revive King’s Raid. The company secured the IP on March 17th and is already hard at work on a global relaunch. While specifics remain undisclosed, a detailed schedule is expected to be unveiled soon.

Set in the vast continent of Orbis, King’s Raid follows the tale of Kasel, a young knight-in-training on a quest to find his missing brother. Accompanied by his childhood friend Frey, the magician Cleo, and the bodyguard Roi, Kasel embarks on an adventure filled with alliances, betrayals, and epic confrontations.

King's Raid GameplayThe narrative of the first season reaches its climax with a thrilling showdown, and the second season delves into the Vespian Empire, further enriching the game’s lore. If you're eager for similar experiences, don't miss our list of the *best RPGs to play on Android!*

King’s Raid offers a comprehensive RPG experience, complete with real-time PvP, large-scale raid battles, and extensive customization options through hero awakening and gear progression.

While Masangsoft has yet to disclose specific changes or enhancements for the relaunch, fans can anticipate a revitalized version of the game that honors its original charm.
