Lapras Ex Acquisition Guide for Pokemon TCG Pocket

While we eagerly await the next big expansion in *Pokemon TCG Pocket*, there are exciting events and smaller card drops to keep us engaged. Here's your guide on how to secure Lapras Ex in *Pokemon TCG Pocket*.

Getting Lapras Ex in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Currently, the Lapras Ex drop event is in full swing within *Pokemon TCG Pocket*. You can participate in event battles against AI using specially crafted Lapras-themed Water decks, and earn Promo Packs as rewards. These Promo Packs are your exclusive ticket to obtaining Lapras Ex.

Keep in mind, the event concludes on November 18, so you have a limited window to engage in these battles and claim your Lapras Ex.

Each Promo Pack contains a single card, and you might pull one of the following:

  • Mankey
  • Pikachu
  • Clefairy
  • Butterfree
  • Lapras Ex

The odds of drawing each card are fairly even, but remember, it's all down to luck and RNG. You might be fortunate enough to pull Lapras Ex from your very first pack, or it might take you up to 20 packs or more. For the best chance at securing a Promo Pack, I recommend tackling the Expert stage, which guarantees a pack at the end of each battle. While every battle offers a chance at a Promo Pack, only the Expert stage ensures it.

Completing all stages also rewards you with Event Hourglasses, which you can use to replenish your Event stamina and continue your farming efforts. If you already have a Pikachu Ex deck, you can even set it to auto-farm the Expert stage, allowing you to farm without needing full attention on the battle.

In the unfortunate event that you don't manage to pull Lapras Ex before the event ends, don't lose hope. Trading is on the horizon for *Pokemon TCG Pocket*, which means you might be able to trade with other players to acquire it in the future.

That's your roadmap to obtaining Lapras Ex in *Pokemon TCG Pocket*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including a comprehensive guide to all secret missions, be sure to check out The Escapist.
