Marvel Contest Of Champions Adds New Original Character Isophyne To Its Roster!

Kabam introduces Isophyne, a completely original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. This fresh addition, designed by Kabam's creators, boasts a striking visual style reminiscent of the film Avatar, enhanced with copper-toned metallic accents.

Unveiling Isophyne in Marvel Contest of Champions

Isophyne enters the Marvel Contest of Champions arena with a powerful presence, poised to become a significant player. Kabam's tradition of rich character lore suggests Isophyne will have a substantial role in future game updates.

Isophyne breaks the traditional combat mold. Unlike other characters who build power for special moves, her unique "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic allows her to freely combine and sequence her special attacks. This means she can chain multiple Special 1s together, offering unpredictable and adaptable combat strategies.

Isophyne's connection to the Founders, a mysterious group within Marvel Contest of Champions, will be further explored in 2025. For now, players can appreciate her impressive visual design.

Marvel Contest of Champions is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of surprises throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.

The game is available on the Google Play Store, featuring Halloween events and a 28-day October Battle Pass. See also our article on Garena's upcoming addition of Moo Deng, the viral baby pygmy hippo, to Free Fire.
