Marvel Rivals Battle Pass Has Two Free Skins for All Players

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and More!

NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, forcing the Fantastic Four to defend the city. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

This season introduces the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.

Players can obtain free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens, without needing the premium battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10). Peni Parker's skin is on page three of the free battle pass, while Scarlet Witch's is on page nine. Note that while a free emote is available for Scarlet Witch, the MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin.

The in-game shop features new premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – a black and red villainous design) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray with blue accents and a mask).

With free and premium cosmetic options, plus the addition of the Fantastic Four, Marvel Rivals Season 1 is packed with exciting new content.
