Marvel Rivals Reveals New Game Mode, New Maps, and Battle Pass Details for Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – New Heroes, Maps, and Game Mode Unveiled

NetEase Games recently dropped exciting details about Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) from the Fantastic Four, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the roster six to seven weeks later. Expect the Baxter Building to feature prominently in a new map.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice, offers 10 new skins and a generous return of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. A thrilling new game mode, "Doom Match," debuts alongside three new maps:

  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum: Featured in the Doom Match mode.
  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown: Designed for convoy missions.
  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park: Launching mid-season (six to seven weeks into Season 1). Details remain scarce.

Doom Match is an arcade-style battle royale featuring 8-12 players, with the top 50% declared victorious.

NetEase acknowledged player concerns, specifically addressing the power of ranged characters like Hawkeye. Balance adjustments are planned for the first half of Season 1. The developers emphasized their commitment to community feedback and incorporating player suggestions. The reveal has generated significant excitement among fans eagerly anticipating the new season's launch.
