Marvel Snap starts a new reign of terror with the Dark Avengers season

Author : Olivia Jan 21,2025

Marvel Snap's new season plunges into darkness with the arrival of the Dark Avengers! This villainous team, led by Norman Osborn, replaces the familiar Avengers, featuring nefarious characters disguised as beloved heroes.

Get ready to add Iron Patriot, Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th) to your roster. These new cards are inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, following the Civil War arc, where Osborn seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s remnants (renamed H.A.M.M.E.R.) and assembled his own twisted Avengers.

This season also introduces a new location: Asgard Besieged, depicting Thor's realm under attack.

Embrace the Shadows

Marvel Snap fans will relish the return of some familiar, and perhaps overlooked, villains. The diverse range of powers will appeal to all players. Victoria Hand, for instance, boosts the power of cards in your hand by 2, while Norman Osborn summons a random 4, 5, or 6-cost card upon being played. If you're ahead in the location where he's played by the next turn, that card's cost is reduced by 4, amplifying your advantage.

Other additions include a new Daken card portraying him as Wolverine, plus various cosmetic items to flaunt your villainous side. And making a surprise appearance is Galactus, a favorite from Marvel Rivals!
