Monopoly GO and Star Wars Team Up for Summer Podracing and Lightsaber Fun!

Monopoly GO! is set to launch into a thrilling new universe with its latest collaboration event: Monopoly GO x Star Wars. Following its successful Marvel collaboration last year, this crossover marks one of the most ambitious projects yet from Scopely.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

The event is scheduled to start on May 1st and will continue through July 2nd. The narrative begins with PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, immersing herself in a Star Wars movie in Mr. M’s private cinema. Her adventure takes a fantastical turn as she dreams herself and her friends into the Star Wars galaxy, shifting the focus from real estate to the epic battle between Jedi and Sith, the light and dark sides of the Force.

During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab, players will have the chance to collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This album unfolds like a comic book, reimagining parts of the Star Wars saga through PEG-E’s creative lens. The stickers feature beloved characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The traditional Monopoly GO events will also receive a Star Wars-themed makeover. Players can look forward to mini-games set on iconic locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena, with unique activities such as podracing featuring Qui-Gon and Mr. M.

There’s More!

The event trailer made its debut at Star Wars Celebration Japan, showcasing how the gameplay will be infused with Star Wars elements, including lightsabers, space travel, and a galactic atmosphere. You can watch the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab trailer below:

In addition to the characters and stickers, players can collect various Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including tokens, shields, and emojis. Stay updated by following the game’s social media channels, where news and additional updates will be shared throughout the event.
