Mortal Kombat 1's upcoming DLC: The Liquid Terminator and the Future of Fighters

Speculation is rife regarding Mortal Kombat 1's DLC, with many believing the current wave, culminating in the addition of the T-1000, will be the final one. However, before focusing on potential endings, let's examine the newly released gameplay trailer showcasing the Liquid Terminator's abilities.

Unlike more agile, aerial-focused characters, the T-1000's strength lies in his liquid metal transformation. This unique ability allows for impressive evasive maneuvers and extended combo opportunities.

His Fatality, a nod to the iconic chase scene in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, involves a massive truck. The full Fatality wasn't revealed in the trailer, likely to avoid an overly mature rating and to maintain a degree of mystery.

The T-1000 arrives on March 18th, alongside the new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo. As for future DLC plans, neither Ed Boon nor NetherRealm Studios have offered any official statements.
