NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After four years, the game will be shutting down on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 asymmetric survival horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. While the mobile version is closing, the original PC and console versions will remain active.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, released in April 2020, offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer or a Survivor. Killers hunt and sacrifice Survivors to the Entity, while Survivors desperately try to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: The game's servers will shut down completely. Players can continue playing until this date.

NetEase will provide details regarding refunds on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

Players who wish to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered to those who have spent money or accumulated XP on the mobile version.

Don't miss your chance to experience Dead by Daylight Mobile before its servers close. Download it from the Google Play Store now! For more gaming news, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
