NetEase's AAA Wuxia Game Blood Message Evokes Uncharted

Surprisingly, NetEase Thunder Fire has just unveiled Blood Message, a brand-new action-adventure title that evokes the spirit of a wuxia-inspired Uncharted.

Positioned as a "story-driven, single-player action-adventure set in ancient China," Blood Message will leverage "cutting-edge technology to deepen immersion in an epic blockbuster experience."

Players can look forward to an emotionally rich narrative anchored in cinematic storytelling, complemented by visceral and realistic combat that blends stealth with survival mechanics. The journey will take you across varied landscapes spanning eastern and central Asia.

Blood Message is an upcoming linear third-person action-adventure developed by 24 Entertainment Studio and NetEase Thunder Fire. It follows a forgotten saga of loyalty and survival, casting players as part of Dunhuang’s uprising—taking on the role of an unnamed messenger and his young son in this immersive third-person adventure.

"Caught in the midst of a righteous rebellion and torn between family and country, players must undertake a treacherous journey eastward to deliver a message that will determine the fate of their war-ravaged homeland," the description teases. "Amid the shifting sands of history, they will carve out one last story of devotion."
