Netflix Drops Sid Meier's 4X Title Civilization VI on Android

Netflix has released Civilization VI, the classic world-building epic, on Android. Sid Meier’s masterpiece lets you play against history’s GOAT leaders as you develop your civilization turn by turn, tile by tile.

Civilization VI: Netflix Is Pure Turn-Based Strategy

You start with a tiny Stone Age settlement. One day, you decide to try and make it the greatestvillage. You start expanding, building monuments, setting up districts and making strong strategic moves.

Along the way, you’ll be dealing with other famous historical figures who might either want to team up or absolutely wreck your plans. If you are a 4X strategist, you know the drill.

This Netflix edition of Civilization VI comes with all the good stuff. I mean it has the Platinum Edition content, including the Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.

The Question Isn’t How to Build an Empire, But How You Want to Win

The game lets you make choices to expand and exterminate the way you want. To steamroll everyone with a massive army, pick the domination mode. And if you want to outsmart opponents with clever politics, then choose diplomacy.

You can be a peacemaker or a warmonger, a tech genius or a cultural icon. Speaking of icons, the game has tons of leaders. From Alexander of Macedonia to Eleanor of Aquitaine, everyone kicks off with that first crucial decision.

You can play Civilization VI: Netflix solo or get some friends involved in multiplayer. You can have up to four players in local co-op or six if you’re going for hotseat mode on the same device.

Developed by Aspyr, 2K and Firaxis, Civilization VI is now available for free for Netflix subscribers. So, check it out on the Google Play Store.
