Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol Is Dropping Its First DLC The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's Rise of the Golden Idol expands its mobile offerings with the launch of its first DLC, The Sins of New Wells, on March 4th. This free expansion, available through Netflix Gaming, will also be released for PC and consoles.

Unraveling the Mysteries of New Wells

Prepare for a deeper dive into mystery, crime, and Lemurian magic. New Wells presents a city riddled with corruption where crime is the norm. Detective Roy Samson, transferred to the lawless 9th District, partners with Cliff Savea to investigate a series of violent crimes, uncovering a conspiracy far greater than they anticipated.

The Sins of New Wells introduces four complex cases: Following Orders, Trouble Unleashed, The Raid, and Unraveling. Players will navigate deception, dishonesty, and intricate puzzles to expose the truth, uncovering hidden agendas and untangling a web of lies. A pervasive sense of madness hangs over New Wells, adding to the suspense.

For Netflix Subscribers Only

The DLC launches at 9 AM PT / 5 PM GMT on March 4th. Color Gray Games has confirmed that this is just the first of at least four planned DLCs for 2025.

Rise of the Golden Idol is a critically acclaimed modern detective game, available for free on the Google Play Store to Netflix subscribers.
