Netmarble’s Beat 'Em Up King Of Fighters ALLSTAR Is Shutting Down Soon

Netmarble's popular fighting game, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is officially shutting down on October 30th, 2024. This news, recently announced on Netmarble's forums, comes as a surprise to many fans. The in-game store has already been closed since June 26th, 2024.

The game, a successful action RPG based on SNK's iconic King of Fighters franchise, has been running for over six years, featuring numerous high-profile crossovers. Despite generally positive player reviews praising its impressive animations and PvP battles, the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt as a contributing factor to the closure. However, this is likely only part of the story, with other undisclosed reasons possibly playing a role.

While King of Fighters ALLSTAR enjoyed millions of downloads and a long run, it also faced challenges in recent times, including optimization issues and occasional crashes.

Players still interested in experiencing the game have approximately four months remaining before the servers shut down. This is a final chance to enjoy its legendary fights and characters. You can download it from the Google Play Store.
