The highly anticipated console will be available starting June 5, 2025, and is priced at $449.99. For those looking for a bundle, Nintendo is offering a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle at a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the US. This bundle includes the system and a download code for the Mario Kart World game, available from the launch day on June 5. If you prefer to buy Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price tag of $79.99, reflecting its status as a fan-favorite racer.

You can currently register your interest with Nintendo to be notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and accessories through the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent via email on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and at least 50 gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025. After priority users receive their invites, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. These invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. Purchases are limited to one system and one of each accessory per account. All major retailers are also expected to open up preorders on April 9, 2025.
