Pokémon Sleep is bringing Cresselia to the roster to fight against Darkrai

Author : David Mar 21,2025

The world of Pokémon Sleep is about to get a whole lot more interesting—or perhaps a little spooky. Cresselia, the Legendary Pokémon known for its dream-inducing powers, is arriving in a special event alongside its shadowy rival, Darkrai. This exciting "Cresselia vs. Darkrai" event runs from March 31st to April 14th.

During this period, your chances of encountering Cresselia during sleep research significantly increase, particularly in Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Lapis Lakeside. If you're lucky enough to add Cresselia to your team, its Lunar Blessing skill will restore your team's energy and boost your Berry collection—the bonus increases with the number of Psychic-type Pokémon buddies you have. Remember, only one Special Pokémon like Cresselia can join your team at a time.

ytThis event is a global collaboration to combat the nightmares spread by Darkrai. From March 31st to April 14th, Cresselia will be working overtime to counteract Darkrai's influence, helping Pokémon affected by bad dreams.

By having Cresselia on your team and boosting your Drowsy Power, you'll contribute to the global effort and earn Cresselia Down. Exchange this for special items like Cresselia Incense and Biscuits, and claim some exclusive event rewards.

If the global community generates enough Event Drowsy Power, there's even a chance to befriend Darkrai itself! Imagine adding the master of nightmares to your team.
