Pokémon GO “Steely Resolve” Event Brings Corviknight and More!

The Pokémon GO “Steely Resolve” event, running from January 21st to 26th, marks the highly anticipated debut of Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight! This addition significantly expands the game's Galar region Pokémon roster.

The arrival of Corviknight was initially teased in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, sparking much speculation amongst players. Now, the wait is over.

The Steely Resolve event offers a wealth of activities: a new Dual Destiny Special Research, various Field Research tasks, increased spawn rates for ten Pokémon (including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink), and boosted shiny encounter chances for several species. Magnetic Lure Modules will attract Pokémon like Onix, Beldum, and Rookidee. Additionally, players can use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration Charged Attack from Shadow Pokémon.

• Bonuses: Increased Stardust from GO Battle League wins (4x), expanded daily battle limits (20 sets, 100 battles), and a free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes.
• Increased Spawns: Clefairy, Machop, Totodile, Marill, Hoppip, Paldean Wooper, Shieldon, Bunnelby, Carbink, and Mareanie (denotes shiny possibility).
• Raids: One-star raids featuring Lickitung, Skorupi, Pancham, and Amaura; five-star raids with Deoxys (Attack & Defense Forms) and Dialga (denotes shiny possibility); Mega raids featuring Mega Gallade and Mega Medicham (denotes shiny possibility).
