Pokémon GO Set To Roll Out Safari Ball In The Wild Area Event 2024

The Pokémon GO Wild Area 2024 event is almost here, and the highlight is undoubtedly the Safari Ball – the game's seventh Poké Ball! Read on to discover everything about this new event and its exciting addition.

What's the Pokémon GO Safari Ball?

Veteran Pokémon players will recognize Safari Zones from the main series games. These unique areas allowed capturing rare Pokémon without battles. Niantic is replicating this concept with its Wild Area event.

Pokémon GO hasn't introduced many new Poké Balls. Regular options include the standard Poké Ball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball. Premier Balls exist, and the Master Ball remains the rarest.

The Wild Area event runs globally from November 23rd to November 24th, 2024, concluding at 6:15 pm local time. Crucially, any unused Safari Balls vanish from your inventory after the event ends.

During the event, the Safari Ball becomes the preferred tool for catching powerful Pokémon. Niantic's decision to debut these balls in a new event, rather than existing Safari Zone or City Safari events, is intriguing.

The ball's design remains undisclosed. However, many Pokémon GO players anticipate the familiar green camouflage pattern from the main series games. Only time will reveal the truth! What are your predictions? Share your thoughts in the comments.

In the meantime, download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store. And before you embark on your adventure, check out our article on the global pre-registration for the tactical RPG, Haze Reverb!
