Author : Nicholas Mar 26,2025

If you've been eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming trading feature for Pokémon TCG Pocket, your wait is almost over. The much-anticipated trading feature is set to launch on January 29th, bringing with it the excitement of exchanging cards with friends, much like you would in person. To participate in trading, you'll need to use trade hourglasses and trade tokens, enhancing the authenticity of your digital card collecting experience.

Hot on its heels, a brand-new expansion named Space-Time Smackdown will be released on January 30th. This expansion introduces beloved Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, including iconic legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, available in two new digital booster packs. Fans of other Sinnoh favorites will be thrilled to see Lucario, as well as the starter trio of Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, making their debut. These cards will be accessible through both the Wonder Pick feature and traditional booster packs.

Smack in the faceWith the addition of these long-awaited Pokémon to the roster, this update is poised to be a hit among fans. However, there have been some concerns about how the trading feature will function. The developers have promised continual tweaks to ensure a smooth experience, so here's hoping they deliver on that promise.
