Unlocking the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16
Patch 7.16 of Final Fantasy XIV introduces exciting new quests and stylish cosmetics. This guide details how to obtain the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.
To acquire the Pose of the Unbound, you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." Locate the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5) to initiate this quest.
However, "Imposing Views" is only available after completing "Picking Up the Torch." This prerequisite requires finishing all five role quests, meaning you'll need to level a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class to level 100 and complete their respective role quests in Tulliyollal. Only then will "Picking Up the Torch" become available, unlocking "Imposing Views."
"Imposing Views" itself is relatively straightforward. Simply visit the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi several times, engage in some combat, and the quest is complete! Upon completion, you'll receive the Pose of the Unbound emote as your reward.
To use your new emote, type "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike a fun, Jojo-inspired pose.
