Back in April, we previewed the Super Farming Boy trailer from LemonChili. It takes the familiar cozy farming sim formula – planting, harvesting, building your dream farm – and injects it with lightning-fast arcade action and a challenging antagonist. The description "Harvest Moon on steroids" felt accurate after viewing the trailer. Players control Super (yes, that's his name!), a boy with superpowers, allowing for rapid-fire harvesting and impressive combo potential. If you missed it, check out the trailer below.

I'm a big fan of this high-octane take on farming sims, and this week LemonChili unveiled a release roadmap, even opening iOS pre-orders on the App Store. While a full launch is some time off – Early Access is slated for Q2 2024, with a full release to follow – pre-ordering the mobile version now grants a 20% discount. Alternatively, you can experience the game's current state via a playable Windows demo on Steam and Itch.io. Regardless of your pre-order decision, Super Farming Boy is definitely a title to watch in the coming year.
